Dehradun, October 14
To provide training to the urban youth, the State Urban Development Authority (SUDA) has launched the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) Uthan Sewa scheme for which training will be provided in different courses.

The scheme has been launched in the entire state. "The youth will be provided training in computer hardware, data operator, river rafting, the hospitality sector (ticketing, hotel management), BPO marketing and accounting. For some courses, the minimum qualification is Class X and for others Class XII," said Radhika Jha, Additional Secretary, Department of Urban Development. The last date for the applications is October 16 and these have to be submitted to the offices of the local bodies and Municipal Corporation offices in the state.
