Dehradun, November 15
Tiger famous Corbett and elephant famous Rajaji National Parks in Uttarakhand were opened for tourists today after the rainy season. At Rajaji, opening was done at simple ceremonies held at Mothichoor and Chila gates of the park today. Ten tourist vehicles entered the park on the first day. All culverts and forest paths inside that were washed away during the rains have now been repaired.

Similarly, in the Corbett National Park in Kumaon, Dhikala zone of Corbett was opened for the tourists today. Corbett Park warden S Updhayaya said Corbett was now all set to welcome visitors. He said online booking facility for the day visitors had also been introduced in the park.
