Dehradun, November 6
The Uttarakhand government today reshuffled 14 IAS officers and transferred 5 IPS officers in the state.

In a decision taken late this evening, Additional Secretary, Personnel, Arvind Hayanki, said that Principal Secretary Rakesh Sharma had been given the additional responbiilty of Commissioner, Infrastructure Development. He is already heading the Departments of Technical Education, Industries, Civil Aviation and IT.
Principal Secretary, Planning and Forests, S.Ramaswamy, has been given additional charge of Medical and Health, Medical education and Ayush. He has been divested of the charge of Labour and Employment.
Principal Secretary, S.Raju, has been made Principal Secretary, Social Welfare, and divested of the charge of PWD, Water Resource and Housing. On the other hand, Principal Secretary Ranbir KSingh would now look after the departments of Small, Micro and Medium-Scale Industries, Labour and Employment. He has been divested of the charge of Health and Medical Services.
Secretary Uma Kant Panwar has been made Secretary, Tourism and Culture and he has been divested of the charge of Urban Development and Transport held by him.
The government also transferred District Magistrate, Dehradun, Ravi Nath Raman. He will now be posted as Additional Secretary, Information Technology.
Additional Secretary BVRS Purrushotam has been made the new DM of Dehradun. He was earlier Additional Secretary, IT.
Six IPS officers have also been transferred. Neeru Garg has been removed from the post of SSP of Dehradun and transferred to Police Headquarters, and Kewal Khurana has been appointed the new SSP of Dehradun.
