Dehradun, February 18
The Uttarakhand Health and Family Welfare Society (UKHFWS) and the Indo-German Social Security Programme of Deutsche Gesellchaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) signed an agreement to start an initiative for development of the outpatient care package under the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) scheme in Dehradun district.

The RSBY provides only in-patient benefits and with this agreement an outpatient project will be developed. The cost of the project will be Rs 6.7 lakh. So far, it has been the medium of providing cashless health insurance for unorganised workers.
