Dehradun, March 10
As part of the Tibetan Uprising Day observation, Tibetan community members in Dehradun today took out a march which was participated by a number of people. The rally that started from Parade Ground passed through Rajpur Road, Clock Tower, Gandhi Road, Saharanpur Road and the Paltan Bazar route before culminating at Parade Ground from where its had started. The rallyists were holding placards highlighting Chinese operation in Tibet.

Addressing Tibetan community members at Parade Ground, Tshering Dolma urged the world community to stand against the genocide of Tibetans unleashed by Chinese in Tibet. She also expressed gratitude to India for constantly extending their support to the Tibetan cause.
Dehradun Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma and BJP Dehradun Mahanagar President Neelam Sehgal were some of the political leaders that reached Parade Ground to express solidarity with the agitating Tibetans.
