Uttarakhand all set to be the part of Digital India campaign. Soon the tourists and residents will be able to access free wi-fi services at the ghats of Har-ki-Pauri in Haridwar.
BJP's Rajya Sabha member Tarun Vijay announced that soon Har ki Pauri and other nearby ghats will get free wi-fi hotspot facility adding that BSNL officials are working very hard to provide the facility in the region.
Priests hailed the decision of introducing the wi-fi zone at the ghats of Haridwar.
In a step towards making India digital, Centre is planning to develop the religious places with internet facilities. In first phase of the project, Har-ki-Pauri and in second phase Subhash ghat, Malviya Island and other nearby places will be laced with the access of internet.
