Dehradun: 10 September, 2015
The nurses across the state will go an indefinite strike from Thursday over their demands to increase their grade pay.
On Wednesday, a talk between the nurses and the health minister was held, but the meeting did nit go in their favour.
There has been a decrease in the number of admissions in the Doon Hospital, due to the closure of the operation services. Nursing college students are now being given the duty in place of the hospital nurses.
According to the nurses, until and unless their pay is increased the strike would nit be called off.
