Tourists will soon get to enjoy leopard safari at Chidiyapur range of Haridwar Forest Division.
According to a report published in TOI, the place where the five leopards who were rescued after getting injured or trapped in human-animal conflict have been kept will be the spot for safari.
State forest minister Dinesh Aggarwal said that this will be the first leopard safari to be launched. He added that adequate security measures will be taken.

Hard-pressed for money to take care of the leopards, the forest department came up with the idea to generate funds.
The leopards will are old and unable to hunt. Some of them had even killed and eaten humans.
