In a major embarrassment to the government of Uttar Pradesh, a rupee one lakh cheque given to 10th grade topper Alok Mishra of Barabanki in UP bounced. This checkque was conferred by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by giving it to the student in a program in Lucknow.
As soon as one lakh rupee cheque given to the student got bounced, then there was a stir in the administration. On the information of check bounce, the government has sought the report from the DIOS. At the same time, after getting the checque bounced, to improve their mistake and to avoid the insult, the DEOs in the camp got the second cheque after calling the student.
When the results of the Class 10th of the UP Board were announced, the meritorious students were overjoyed. From the leader to the big officials, everyone was busy congratulating these students. These toppers were also honored by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by calling them Lucknow. The cheque given to the topper of class X bounced. After that the student and his parents got disturbed.
Alok Mishra, surprised and disapponted by the cheque bounce, told that in the 10th class of the UP Board, he had secured seventh place. Chief Minister Yogi had called Alok to Lohiya university of Lucknow on 29th May to honor him. CM Yogi honored him with appreciation for his success and gave him a cheque of Rs. 1 lakhs. To encash the cheque,the student deposited it in the bank, then two days later he came to know that the cheque had bounced.
