Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 exam 2019 has begun from today (21 February 2019). The examination will be taken by 18.5 lakh students across India. The 10th exam will start with e-publishing and e-office (business paper), however, core papers will start with math paper from March 7. After which the class X examination will be end on March 29.

This time the Board has taken strict steps to avoid paper leak and fraud. Following are the important points candidates who are going to give the board exams should keep in mind:

1. Do not forget your admit card.

2. Carefully check whether your Admit Card has your school stamp and principal, guardian and your signature. If this does not happen then you will not get admission in the examination center.

3. Do not take any electronic device like mobile, Bluetooth, pager etc in the examination hall. Also, any written material, purse, mobile phone or smart watches are not allowed within the examination hall.

4. Go to the examination center by wearing your school uniform and your school ID card.

5. Admission in the examination centers will be closed at 10:00 in the morning. According to the CBSE rules, after which any student will not be given entry at the examination center.

Software will be used

This time the Theory Evaluation Trends Analysis (TETRA or Trava) software will be used by the board. Through this it is to check the difficulty of paper, so that the candidates can get a paper with equal difficulty. Last year also it was used to study the trend of points obtained from students of all areas.

Remedies to avoid paper leaks

Several steps have also been taken to avoid paper leaks. In this, with a view to keep a close watch on the paper set, security, social media is also being monitored this time. At the same time, the board will keep track of people who spread rumors of paper leaks.

Examination from Old Pattern

After the paper leak last year, the CBSE had said that the next examination ie 2019 board exam will be organized electronically with the coded paper pattern. So that incidents like paper leaks could be stopped. But talking to a news channel, the CBSE officials said that this time the examination will be held from the old pattern. Meanwhile, teachers of the Central School say that there is no information about the electronically coded paper and the papers are already printed. Papers will be given to the students after getting the paper from the custodian bank.
