Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2019 (Software Edition) was organized at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. In this, seven challenges related to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Machine Learning (ML) in front of participating 28 teams and complex problems were put in place. During this time, more than 196 students from different cities of the country joined, whose aim is to develop software based industrial resources.
On Sunday, the two-day Smart India Hackathon’s Grand Finale was held at the LHC Auditorium of the institute. This competition was organized by the initiative of Human Resource Development Ministry, Government of India and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). For organizing this, IIT Roorkee, one of the 48 nodal centers in the country, was also built.
Its purpose is to solve the problems that come in front of us all in daily life. This will help in creating innovative products and developing the problem of problem solving. In the three rounds of Smart India Hackathon, the students were evaluated by about eight judges of the industry and education. Each team had two mentors, including eight members. Competition was evaluated in two phases.
On this occasion, coding was done in the nodal center IIT Roorkee for the solution of the problem statement of KG Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. The competition continued for 36 hours continuously. Participants in Hackathon have been asked to solve seven problems. In which the pixel team won the use of RPA in processing the invoice. Team Pseudo codes in financial work from Robotic Processing Automation, Team Galio Figaro in the choice of credential based traditional verification, team televisions with customer service Chatbot ML, Team Solvers VIT, RPA’s in order to prepare customer service automation tickets.
On this occasion, IIT Roorkee Director Professor Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi said that “we are very happy about this event in IIT Roorkee. Every nodal center is a hug of people excited about software. A large number of students from all over the country participate in this.” He said that the organization’s team organized it in a grand way. This will give all participants an opportunity to perform best in this.
